Privacy policy

Last updated 12 October 2026

VibeDeck is run by Joshua Jansen. This page says what we collect, why, and who sees it. We keep it short because we collect little.

What we collect

Cookies and browser storage

We use only what the app needs to work: a sign-in cookie, a device cookie that keeps your seat in a party room, a short list of your recent games (30 days), and your remembered names and avatar in your browser's storage. There are no advertising or analytics cookies. You can clear them in your browser, or use Forget on your player profile.

Affiliate links

Links to Amazon carry our Associates tag. When you click one you leave VibeDeck and Amazon's own privacy notice applies. Amazon tells us about purchases made through our links but not who you are. See Affiliate links.

Who else sees it

Our hosting provider stores the data on our behalf, and OpenRouter and the model provider behind it process deck prompts. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Account data until you ask us to delete it. Party rooms and play sessions are temporary and may be removed after they go quiet. Logs are kept only as long as we need them for security.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and to object to how we use it. If you are in the EU or UK, these rights come from the GDPR, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

VibeDeck is a family-friendly game night app, but accounts are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 for accounts.

Contact

Contact the operator, Joshua Jansen, through the site owner's published details for any privacy request.
