How to play
The bar-room dice classic: roll two dice, up to three times a round, and don’t finish last. The starter sets how many rolls everyone gets.
- Everyone starts with five lives. Each round every player rolls two dice in the open, one player at a time.
- The round’s starter rolls first and may roll up to three times, stopping whenever they like. The number of rolls they used is the limit for everyone else.
- Your last roll is your score. The higher die comes first: 31 is the lowest, then 32, 41 … 65, then the pairs 11 to 66. A 2 and a 1 is Mex, the highest roll of all.
- The lowest score loses a life. If anyone rolled a Mex, the loser loses two. Ties for lowest all lose.
- The loser starts the next round. The last player with lives left wins.
