How to play

The old pub favourite: five dice, three rolls a turn, and a scorecard with thirteen lines to fill. Chase the Yahtzee.

  1. On your turn roll all five dice. Then roll again up to twice, holding any dice you want to keep.
  2. After any roll you must write a score on one open line of your card. A line that does not match scores zero.
  3. Upper lines score the total of that number: ones through sixes. Reach 63 in the upper lines for a 35 point bonus.
  4. Three or four of a kind score all five dice. Full house (three plus two) is 25. A run of four is 30, a run of five is 40.
  5. Five of a kind is a Yahtzee and scores 50. Chance scores the total of all five dice.
  6. After thirteen turns each, the highest card wins. Ties share the win.
